Coconut oil is excellent for those with dry skin as it is rich in the medium-chain fatty acid linoleic acid, which moisturizes the skin. Apply it immediately after showering, focusing on dry areas like elbows and knees. Another fatty acid in coconut oil is lauric acid, which has antibacterial properties. It is best to use cold-pressed virgin coconut oil as it is less processed and retains more nutrients and antioxidants than coconut oil pressed under hot conditions..

MAKE A MATCHA SCRUB FOR BODY AND HANDS 
Of course, you can make a scrub using only coconut oil and coconut sugar. But by adding matcha powder, you can give your skin even more benefits thanks to the antioxidants in matcha! Here's how to make a simple body scrub with coconut oil, coconut sugar, and matcha: 

3 tbsp virgin cold-pressed coconut oil 
2 tbsp coconut sugar  
1 tsp matcha powder 

Mix all ingredients and use as a scrub for the body and hands.
