Organic and beautiful golden brown Hojicha of high quality on carefully selected Sencha leaves from one of the oldest tea gardens in Asamiya, Japan. The tea leaves are grown at high altitude, picked, cleaned and steamed immediately after harvest, after which they are dried and dark roasted (Fukairi) at a high temperature, which gives the tea a low caffeine content. Slightly sweet taste with deep notes of nut, hints of toast and well-balanced umami. Enjoy your tea both hot and cold - time to spill some tea!
