Elegant Oolong from the Anxi region in China, made from 100% Tie Guan Yin cultivar, one of the world's most renowned Oolong teas. The production of Tie Guan Yin is a multi-step artisanal process, where each stage carefully guides the tea's final character. After plucking, the leaves are allowed to rest before being repeatedly tossed, which slowly initiates oxidation and develops the tea's complex aromas. The leaves are then roasted at a low temperature to halt the process and give them a light, frost-like surface, followed by rolling into tight, compact tea pearls that preserve their taste and aroma.
