Our organic coconut butter is made from the pulp of coconuts. It contains fine pieces of coconut and has a natural layer of coconut oil on top. It is sweeter than pure coconut oil and has a texture best described as "coconut crumb dough". Perfect for desserts and cooking when you want a creamy texture, but for frying, coconut oil is a better choice. Try mixing the butter with water for a fine coconut milk or with herbs for a spread. Or just eat it straight out of the can.
Tip! The layer of coconut oil on top can be used separately or pressed back into the pulp. To get the pulp out more easily, place the jar in warm water.

The coconut separates naturally and some of the oil ends up as a layer on top.
