Our virgin coconut oil is organic and cold pressed, meaning it is neither hardened nor bleached. Coconut oil has a high proportion of medium-length fatty acids and can be used at high temperatures without the risk of trans fats. It gives a lovely taste of coconut when frying and other cooking. With a splash of tamari and a little chili, the oil becomes an Asian marinade. Also good on buckwheat pancakes and in smoothies. Also works to lubricate the body and to use as a hair wrap. Coconut oil is normally solid at room temperature but becomes liquid when heated.
The difference between our different coconut oils is that Virgin Coconut Oil (500 ml and 230 ml) is cold-pressed, softer in texture and contains slightly more moisture. This makes it particularly suitable for frying and other cooking. Neutral Coconut Oil (500 ml and 230 ml) is deodorized and thus free of taste and fragrance, which makes it best suited for highlighting flavors other than coconut in cooking and baking. They both complement each other perfectly in the kitchen.

The oil melts at 25°C and solidifies again when left cool.
