Elegant and beautiful handmade brown-black matcha bowl with gold-colored rim and spout called Katakuchi - a small-scale Japanese premium craft! A medium-sized bowl that fits especially well when you want to make matcha for several and serve with it. Or you use this bowl to brush together the base paste itself as then; poured over into several other bowls where the final preparation takes place (beat with water 75-80° C), alternatively pour over the base paste in juice, iced tea or smoothie. Of course also excellent to drink straight from. Like all crafts cared for with extra love and hand washing. The craftsman's skills and personality are reflected in each product and all bowls may therefore have a slightly different appearance. This bowl has a glazed black deep bass tone on a brown base with a luxurious gold rim around the top. Different shifts in color and pattern may occur between different specimens.

The tea ceremony is an ancient tradition in Japan and thanks to matcha tea's calming and relaxing effect on both body and soul, it is widely drunk by monks before meditation. And because you drink the whole finely divided matcha leaf, not just the tea water, you get more than ten times as much nutrition and antioxidants as from regular green or black tea.
