Stand for matcha whisk in matt natural white ceramic. The lower part of the whisk stand is unglazed, which creates a beautiful mottled beige tone and slightly rougher texture. A matcha whisk stand ensures that the matcha whisk dries properly and thereby maintains its shape and extends its life.

Why beat with bamboo and not metal? Well, because hot water causes the catechins (antioxidants) in the matcha to bond with the metal from the whisk. And we want the antioxidants to bind free radicals, not metal - just like with a bamboo whisk!
