Discover a Japanese treasure in the form of Taisuke Shiraiwa's kyusu - a teapot created by the award-winning potter from Hokkaido, Japan! This unique kyusu has a built-in ceramic filter (instead of metal), which brings out the true flavor of the tea. Perfect for brewing tea in small quantities according to the Japanese tradition and is therefore particularly suitable for Sencha tea.

The teapot is fired in a wood-fired oven called Anagama, and each kyusu thus acquires a unique character that only charcoal firing can achieve. Packaged in a traditional Kiribako, a wooden box signed by the artist himself.

Användning / Dosering

To fully enjoy this artistic teapot, wash it gently by hand and avoid dishwasher or washing up liquid.
