Elegant Oolong from the Anxi region of China, made from 100% Tie Guan Yin cultivar, one of the world's most renowned Oolong teas. The production of Tie Guan Yin is a multi-stage artisanal process, where each step carefully controls the tea's final character. After plucking, the leaves are rested and then tossed in several rounds, which slowly initiates oxidation and develops the tea's complex aromas. The leaves are then roasted at a low temperature to stop the process and create a light, frosty surface, followed by rolling into tight, compact tea pearls that preserve their taste and fragrance. Smooth and round with notes of orchid, fresh vegetal qualities, and subtle sweetness. Enjoy your tea both hot and cold – time to spill some tea!
