Wild black tea grown in old abandoned tea plantations deep in the mountains and forests of the Qimen Likou Guniujiang Nature Reserve in China. The leaves are hand-picked for a few days a year in steep, inaccessible areas, which results in a small, exclusive harvest. The tea leaves then undergo a traditional process where they are gently rolled, oxidized, pan-roasted and rolled again before finally being dried. The leaves have a rustic appearance, rich and complex flavor profile with notes of fruit, honey and flowers followed by a naturally smooth and sweet aftertaste.
