Vintage ripe Pu Erh from Yunnan province in China, particularly known for its Pu Erh production. The tea leaves are harvested from centuries-old large-leaf tea trees. After picking, the leaves are allowed to oxidize indoors before being quickly pan-roasted to stop the process. The leaves are then sun-dried and rolled, then piled up, moistened and covered. This creates a controlled fermentation process that develops the tea's deep and complex flavor profile. The tea is then aged for over five years, which further rounds out and deepens its character. Full-bodied, soft aroma with distinct earthy notes and natural sweetness. Enjoy your tea hot or cold – time to spill some tea!
