In Japan, you can see amazing green pastries everywhere, all baked with matcha. And it's not hard to understand why, matcha is incredibly fun to bake with! The bright green color and characteristic taste are addictive. Whether you want to make ice cream, frosting, cookies, cakes or buns, matcha adds something unique to all recipes.  

To get the best results when baking with matcha, we recommend you use our Matcha - Ceremonial Grade A or Kuwa Matcha. While regular matcha gives excellent taste, Kuwa matcha gives an exceptional green color.   

Feel free to combine matcha with vanilla, cardamom, lime, raspberry or blueberry!  

Things to think about when baking with matcha!
If you are going to bake cakes, buns or bread, matching has a tendency to make the dough a little dry. Add more liquid to the recipe if needed.
