Roasted at high temperature and stone ground to a fine powder with a nutty flavor, smooth sweetness, mild umami and beautiful brown color. Perfect as a latte or in ice cream and pastries.
Usage / Dosage
Measure the hojicha powder with a matcha spoon, one spoon for normal strength and one heaped spoon for "espresso", which is then whisked in hot water (70°) with a bamboo whisk as you pour in more and more water.
