pesto with black garlic
A pesto where the black garlic is the star. It contributes a sweet, caramelized and deeply umami-rich flavor that is completely different from regular garlic. While the umeboshi puree has a salty and sour taste that balances out the round sweetness. Wonderfully delicious pesto to mix with pasta, roasted vegetables or use in dressing.
